Runnymede Medical Practice - our Bond Street surgery saved!
Pre-pandemic it was by no means certain that Englefield Green would continue to have a doctors' surgery. Thankfully, the Practice partners have reached an agreement with the property owner which means our surgery remains in Bond Street and its future is secured.
The way healthcare is delivered in local communities across the UK is, however, changing. Nationally there are fewer GPs, yet demand for services has increased and online consultations as well as face to face consultations are the order of the day. There is a much-improved website https://www.runnymedemedicalpractice.nhs.uk/ with lots of information to help us all access the care and services you may need. Much of the information is derived from the Windsor Primary Care network to which the Runnymede Practice belongs, but the Practice has agreed to add information specific to those who live in Englefield Green.
The Runnymede Practice has many appreciative patients, but like any service, it doesn't always get everything right. Anyone who wishes to share feedback is invited to follow the feedback/complaints procedure which is clearly indicated on the website. If you do not have access to the internet, you can simply write to the Practice Manager. Constructive comments are always welcome and contribute to making our Practice better for everyone.
With the lifting of covid restrictions, the Patient Participation Group and the Practice will be resuming the pre-pandemic open meetings. The first will focus on a topical health issue
