Village fair and events
The highlight of the village social calendar is the EGVRA Village Fair Village Fair Website which traditionally takes place in on the village green in June. In 2023 the Fair was a great success. The weather was scorching, and the village came together to enjoy donkey rides, a dog show, classic cars, gospel choir, brass band and much, much more. The surplus money raised each year goes towards supporting local clubs, associations and charities to fund projects in the village.

Other events include the Christmas Panto at the Edge venue (formerly the Social Hall), the lighting of the Christmas tree and carol singing, regular music recitals at St Jude's Church and the annual Garden Party at RHUL.
