The highlight of the village social calendar is the EGVRA Village Fair Village Fair Website which traditionally takes place in on the village green on the 3rd Saturday in June. In 2025 the Fair was once again a great success. The weather was rather hot, and the dog show and donkey rides had to be cancelled at the last minute, but the village came together in great spirits to enjoy the many stalls, maypole dancing, choir, birds of prey show, Egham brass band, classic cars and much, much more. The surplus money raised each year goes towards supporting local clubs, associations and charities to fund projects in the village. Do step forward if you want to be involved in any way with next year's fair as the whole thing depends on volunteers who freely give up their time to make this event the best village fair for miles around.

Other regular events include the Christmas Panto at the Edge venue (formerly the Social Hall), the lighting of the Christmas tree with carol singing and regular music recitals at St Jude's Church.
