Windsor Great Park
Information
Windsor Great Park is a Royal Park of 2,020 hectares, considered by many residents of Englefield Green to be our local 'playground'. The main Visitor Centre at Savill Garden lies within the boundaries of the village and can easily be reached from the village on foot on by bike. The park boasts miles of walks through ancient woodland, around beautiful lakes, and through a variety of landscapes. Highlights include the many Royal monuments, the iconic views of Windsor castle down the 'Long Walk' Virginia Water Lake and Cascade, the Leptis Magna ruins, the Valley and Savill Gardens. The park's facilities include plenty of places to take refreshment or a comfort break, parking at several of the entrances, children's play areas and gift shops. WGP Map
